Our Sponsor
Jane Street covers our tournament entries, travel, online memberships, and events. That is the whole reason we can say “just show up, it’s free” and actually mean it. We are very grateful.
Where the Money Goes
Entry fees
Want to play a rated tournament? We pay for it. No forms, no claiming it back.
Travel and hotels
Covered for away events, up to and including national championships.
Equipment and the rest
Boards, clocks, team jackets, online memberships, and the pizza that shows up at meetings.
Want to Sponsor Us?
We’re one of the more active collegiate chess communities around, with members from total beginners to Grandmasters, and a season of events that runs from Autumn through Spring. If that sounds like a group you’d like to support, come say hi.
